GREGOIRE, Jean-Paul ""J.P.""

Jean-Paul passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends, after a short battle with cancer, on his granddaughters birthday, June 12, 2010, at the age of 78. Loving and missing him are his daughters; Sylvie and Diane, grandchildren; Jason, Jennifer and Sebastien and many other family and friends. Jean-Paul was a millwright and heavy duty mechanic all his life. He loved working with his tools and was a genius at fixing almost anything. Jean-Paul came to BC in the early 70's from Sherbrooke, Quebec. During his last seven years, he lived at the Alex Graham Manor, where he made many friends both there and in the surrounding community. He will be sorely missed. Special thank you to the staff at West 2A who were loving and kind and ensured that Jean-Paul passed in comfort and with dignity. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 18 at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation.
